We volunteer to keep Central Oregon safe.
Who are we?
The Central Oregon Pain Guide is a project of the Interdisciplinary Pain & Prescribing Task Force (formerly Pain Standards Task Force), a group of volunteers working with public health in Central Oregon to combat the opioid crisis while supporting great patient care and support for those with chronic pain.
We’re always looking for passionate individuals to join our task force.
Full disclosure: We currently meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 7am because many of our members are practicing providers. Community members welcome.

FAQs
Who pays for all this?
Public Health Departments in Central Oregon secure funding from a variety of sources to support the work of Central Oregon Overdose Prevention & Response Coalition and the Interdisciplinary Pain & Prescribing Task Force.
Will you endorse legislation?
Because we are a group of volunteers representing private entities, government, and individual community members, we are unable to officially support political efforts. We are willing to endorse non-political resources, such as pain prescribing guidelines, upon review.
Who are the volunteers for this? Can I sign up?
Volunteers come from local clinics, public health, and even the community. We’re always open to making new friends - visit our Contact page to get in touch with a facilitator about joining.
